Foreign-accent voices called twice from spoofed DirecTV number saying AT&T was about to move a satellite so tv signal would be received during rain storms but needed to test my box and wanted money to install software. Money would be returned on Dec 22 and my fees would drop by $40 a month next year. The first male that called could not give me my personal access codes selected during installation years ago!
DirecTV scam. Live person with some kind of strange accent who said he was calling me to test if my TV box would be compatible with their new equipment coming out. Then said he ran the test and it was not compatible so he nicely referred me to their tech department. I don't have DirecTV. Never have.
I looked the number up as my phone was ringing and saw that it's a robo call.

Heavily accented foreign-accent voices called twice from spoofed DirecTV number saying AT&T was about to move a satellite and in 24 hours I would lose my signal if I did not upgrade the software on my box and wanted money to install software. Pure scam. And DirecTv is no better, speak book English, but can not understand American English. Virginia area
