Called at 6:25AM to tell my my icloud had been compromised. I don't have an icloud account, was pissed to get woken up early on a holiday.
Your Cash app is blocked.
Cash App scam. My account was put on lock and I had to contact Cash App customer service. They called me back and asked me the same questions and said that they needed the information to unlock my account. I didn't think anything of this because my phone service has also done the same when they were helping me out. Bottom line, my balance went to zero in front of my eyes, all $500 of it, and I have no way of getting it back. If you have Cash app, delete your account after transferring your money to a secure bank, uninstall the app and report them. And PLEASE share. I am not the only one who has had hundreds and thousands stolen.
Caller said that someone was trying to retrieve $120 from my Cash App account. The caller started asking suspicious questions such as what kind of phone I use, Apple or Android and then begin to tell me to go ahead and open up my cash app account. I hung up immediately.
Left no message. I never answer calls that are unidentified or says SPAM call.
