Got a call from this number, they said they were from CHFA and that we had $4000 in past due fees, when we pay all our mortgages on time. I even called CHFA right after and all their offices are closed because it's good friday, so that's how I knew it was a scam. They've sent letters to my home and are now trying to call me and my husband. Unbelievable.
Have called me several times. Twice in the past 10 days. Once in 2023 and once in 2022. Calling for someone else claiming they're the ones in charge of my mortgage now. I'm not the person they're calling for and I do not have a mortgage total scam. I even told them they had the wrong number yet they're still bothering me

Got a call from this number. It's a Scam!!!
They claim they are a 3rd party collection company for mortgage companies. She told me she needed to know my mortgage info and the account number. I said you called me you should have it! I told her she was trying to commit fraud and I was call the police and report it. The rep got very nasty at that point! I hung up called my mortgage company and notified them. My mortgage company said its that time of the year, the holidays and lots of scammers! This is a total scam! Do not give them any information!
Asking for someone else (not myself or anyone in my household), pretending to be a mortgage company
