This is United Health care seeking to set you up with a free home visit under their Housecalls program. I have received both phone calls and letters in the mail. You can decide if you want to participate or not, it is your decision.
what is with these people wanting to come to my house!
Got a call from this number and was advised they are calling on behalf of United Healthcare and want to come to my house to meet with me face to face regarding my health. I told them I wasn't interested and to take me off their call list. Very pushy and insistent and I hung up on them and blocked the call.
Got a call from this number at 5pm Wednesday July 14, 2021 to our PRIVATE UNLISTED number that is also on the National DO NOT CALL LIST. The lady told me they needed to send a "doctor" to our home for a "physical exam" for health insurance coverage. The family member she had the name of IS covered by that company. I became alarmed as that is the most RIDICULAS thing I have ever heard of !! They do NOT send "doctor's" to your HOME for physical exams. She had our home address also and we live in a very rural area, so I became afraid at that point. She then began to ask personal questions and I hung up. My phone caller ID said "United Health Care". That is why I answered it in the first place, as that IS our health care company.
Been getting multiple calls a day. Doesn't say who they are just gives the phone number and wants me to call them back. So I looked up the number and now realize it is a scam.
Yes, daily on both of my phones. How can it be stopped. Looks like the FCC would do something with as many complaints

Answered initial call supposedly from United Healthcare with offer for home care as part of my advantage plan. Did not provide any personal information and expressed NO interest in home care, especially during COVID-19. They immediately hung up on me! Received at least 10 more annoying calls from this SCAMMER within last few weeks, without me answering them! Contacted United Healthcare customer service to report SCAM calls and change my contact phone number from landline to cell. Now this SCAMMER is calling my cell phone! UNBELIEVABLE!!!

So my father received a call from this number and he didnt realize it could be a scam. So he ended up setting up an appointment and provided them our home address

Extremely annoying calls from a third party contractor calling on behalf of United Healthcare, trying to get UHC Medicare members to sign up for their "House Calls" program. Sometimes they leave a message, other times they don't. TERRIBLE way to conduct business. Doesn't really matter if the purpose of the call is legit is your methods have all the signs of a scammer. UHC ought to be fined for engaging in this kind of targeted spam.

Didn't answer. They left (clearly recoded) message that they were with United Health Care and had exciting new service connected with our advantage plan.
Caller claiming to be from "UnitedHealthcare." She asked for my birth date. Now, if YOU are really from UHC and you call me.....you already have my information on file. At the outset of this call I refused to give ANY information. THE SCAM CALL PHONE NUMBER came from 844-893-5577. BEWARE...do not give any information no matter how slick they talk.
