Is 844-849-2928 a scam or spam call?
I just received a call from one of my clients that I happen to have on a Cigna Advantage Plan. He received another call from 844-849-2928 claiming to be Cigna again regarding his prescription. They asked for his personal info he hung up and called me, as I had told him to do that f he got any more calls. I have checked with Cigna the CS person verified the number in their system and said it is not a Cigna number and they would not ask for the info they asked him anyway. Do not accept any calls from any 1-844-849-2928 of any exchanges that start with 844-849 or 848 numbers these are numbers used to commit scam calls.
Caller was from Cigna Medicare, asked for my birth date because he wanted to check on one of my prescriptions. I did not provide information, called Cigna and they had no record of any calls and told me they would never call to ask for information.
