Funny thing is, even though my area code is 954, I haven't lived in FL for years. Idiots.
Said they were disconnecting power (FPL) due to underpayment. It's a scam.
I got one today. Same thing, overdue electric bill. I knew it was a scam as my electric bill is always paid. The call originated from 954-295-8049 and referred me to 844-818-3363.
Called saying that I had an overdue FPL bill...called FPL and they confirmed it is a scam.
Received a call saying they are FPL and will turn off my electric unless I call this number.
Received an automated voice message from this number claiming to be FPL and saying that we have an overdue electric bill.
Same here. November 11th 2020. Recording saying they were going to shut off my electric unless I called this number
