Caller calls daily asking for account manager for AT&T account. Says the switch to digital will be mandatory next month due to regulation fees. I called AT&T directly to advise of the scam
Caller claims to be with AT&T Upgrade department and just upgrading to Digital next month. When I asked if they were with AT&T they said yes so I asked for their # and they hung up.
Caller wants me to switch phone provider from Spectrum to "Ring Planet" claiming 1- they are affiliates with Spectrum and 2- I have a right to change because of the "fair trade act". I called Spectrum who knows nothing about them.
