Who called me from this phone number (844) 607-5103

I received a voice message from phone number 1-844-607-5103 in regards to a pre-authorization for medication. I received a second call one hour later leaving the same voice message to contact them immediately about pre-authorization for medication. Neither message included the name of my insurance company or any information that would lead me to believe it was from my insurance company.

Recieved two calls exactly an hour apart from a (I assume spoofed) local number from your "health plan pharmacy" about pre-authorization for a prescription it said it was really important to call 844-697-5103. I didn't call back.

They called from a spoofed local number & left VM message. Claims to be calling on behalf "your healthcare provider" regarding a pharmacy pre-authorization. Left the number 844 607 5103 on VM & said to call back "immediately" because this was "urgent". I did not call back. 4 hours later, they called again from a different spoofed local number. This time I picked up & said nothing. Dead air for 2 minutes & then disconnected. Chances are very good that this was two attempts from the same scam. Anthem has the callback number listed as a known phishing scam on their website.

Got 2 phone calls in 10 minutes from 844-607-5103. They keep leaving a voicemail saying I need to call them about a prescription. Don’t know who they are so would not give them any information

Got a call about some bogus medicine authorization.

This is the return call # from my VM. Called from 267-954 -2897 & was an automated call. Called twice. Identified as Pharm Preauth Rep kn caller ID. I can assure this is 100% not legitimate.

Got a call from this number it seemed so legit that I gave them the info they asked for

Just received this same message and phone call just minutes after my doctor phoned in a new Rx. I'm assuming it is a scammer as they wanted me to verify my DOB. There appeared to be no way to get a person on the phone without entering that information. so I disconnected.

Same as others from Prior Pharmacy Authorization only I haven't recently changed prescriptions.

Same scam as others has mentioned. They want you to call 844-608-5103. Pharmacy Authorization. I have just recently switched a prescription as someone else here mentioned. Now it has me thinking is this someone from Walmart supplying these scammers info. How else would they have known other than my insurance or Walmart?

Received computer generated call several times asking to call back 844-607-5103. Had my name, wanted personal information. Sounded like a shit call so hung up and checked with insurance provider. Yep, another asshole trying to get my $$$. Don't talk to them! Worse than the politicians . . . almost.

Said a pharmacy authorization & we had just changed prescriptons.....called our Drug plan.....they did not know anything about this call.......such a shame to bother people..............

Recording stated this was a call regarding prior pharmacy authorization. I knew this could not be from the pharmacy I use; also,that prior authorizations are necessarily handled by my MD's office. Did not pick up phone.

Yes, this call came through several times. do not give out any personal info, simply HANG UP!!!! wanting you to call a toll free number is what message said, and that rose a red flag instantly.

I had the same call and message as prior reporter. Of course my name was used. I'm glad I checked before I called back.

Recording asked for my husband by his first and last name then asked 3 times if they were speaking to him. The caller ID said it was Pharmacy Priority Authorization and came from (267) 954-2897 and that my husband was to call (844)608-5103. I called that number from my cell phone to see if it was legit as we were expecting a call from our local pharmacy that day. When I called it went into a recording asking for information on. This was scam/fraud coming from (267)954-2897 and (844) 607-5103.
