Phone message this michael grassio (not sure of last name because call broke up) threatening legal action if I don’t call back. This was back in October. I never called. Just wanted to report it anyway.
Today a Mr. Johnson from the alleged law office of Dominic Pantano called my number and asked to speak with my daughter. When I asked what the call was about, he told me "Debbie" owes $265.92 for a bounced $41.48 check. He cautioned me that he would have to file a claim with the State Attorney's Office if my daughter didn't pay up. Panicked, I offered to settle the debt for her and was grateful that Mr. Johnson agreed to accept a reduced payment of $175.22 via bank draft, Cash App, or money card. I nixed the bank draft, wasn't able to download Cash App, and forgot the name of the money card he specified. What a blessing! After work, I researched Florida's debt collector laws and have determined that Dominic Pantano and Mr, Johnson are frauds. I will NEVER again discuss finances with someone during an unsolicited phone call, and I will definitely not make payment arrangements. I was almost another unfortunate statistic.
I was called and he left a voice mail threating to to my case to my county courts. The scary part was he had copies of checks i had writen and he emailed them to me. He stated if i didnt pay he was going to move future with the checks and take legal action. Now i wrote these checks over a year ago in WV i now live in SC. I called my courts here they told me i was being scammed. Thank god i didnt just give him money like that the guys was scary and threating. I have never been in trouble he told me he did a background check on me my phone is no in my name how did he find me.
He says I owe him money and they are taking legal action in court against me. I don't owe anyone money !
David Johnson calling to say I have outstanding legal matter and if I didn't call back by end of day to resolve it would be transferred to the county I live in for legal processing
