David Rodriguez answered and claimed to be from Microsoft, but here to help, and had me write a check for $249.99 then he took a pic from my screen. After an audible alarm and pop-up windows informing me that my laptop was compromised and hacked wanted 199 for 1 yr or 299 for 2 yrs to fix and prevent another hacking. His name was Nicola with the phone #833-859-3555. Don't agree to anything. Take laptop to a computer shop to be diagnose.
Scammed my mom (88 years old) and tried to get $1500 out of her!

Hi All. This exact thing just happend to my parents. A popup telling you to call this number 833-859-3555. Do NOTHING !! Don't call !! Take it to computer guy and let them check the system if your computer has been hacked by cyber attack.

Claimed to be from Microsoft security. Gained access to my PC by tricking me. Then installed something to crash it after I told him $750 for Microsoft security was asinine. Told me I needed to speak nicer to him and now I need to purchase a new computer. Now my PC won't boot....

Just got off the phone with Mr. Rodriquez. My call was taped by my computer. He is able to access the PC and run "screening"...asked if "my husband was home" and told me "you sound too young to be retired" WTF????? This is so vile that our PCs can be used to allow emotional rape of seniors. GET A LIFE!!!!
