received a call on 3/16/20 from walgreens number 833-728-3874 stating prescription will be ready next week. scam call did not answer. looked it up.
Received the call and called my pharmacy and they said they believe this is a scan. Don't call the number given in the message.. scam

January 27 message from "Walgreens" at 833-728-3874 that my Rx will be ready next week. Call originated from 224-323-5016.
A recording came on saying your prescription will be ready next week. I didn't recognize the area code or number, also they didn't say my name nor location of the pharmacy.
The 1st call was for a BMW warranty and the 2nd call was from Walgreens both giving me the same number to call.
Next week? That's not a pickup date and time. Beware of scammers.
received a call from 224-323-5016, that left a voice message claiming to be Walgreens and my prescriptions were ready to pick up and to call 833-728-3874 if changes need to be made.
Received voice mail from "Walgreens" saying my prescriptions would be ready next week and to call 833-728-3874 if there were changes. I had picked up the scripts last week. I called my local pharmacy and they knew nothing about a phone call like this. I figured it was some kind of scam, googled the number and ended up at this FTC site.
