I was sent a bill in the mail for $20, for a pledge to this organization that they said was made by my husband on 6/28/18. However my husband died in 2007. I have never answered this a phone call from this number, which was listed as the "Donor Services" number. (I am also on the do-not-call list.) They say they are "Americans for Police and Trooper Safety". This is mail fraud, and I have reported it to the postal inspection service.

Can't say if it is safe or not, they did ask for a donation though initially did not identified as Americans for Police and Trooper Safety.... got my name, but I did not give information over the phone, regarding my bank card/credit card, something made stop at that, the woman that was supposed to get my information got stumped when I told her to send me the envelope. The paper looks creditable enough, but in this day and age, anyone can fake a letter, so I am not going to send my financial information/no donation.
