Received the same recorded message. This is Pamela from Reader's Digest sweepstakes. Your this month lucky winner of $8,500,000 claim your prize by calling Ryan Richmond at 833-230-2990. Again that's 833-230-2990. If you reached the voicemail box leave a detailed message for us to call you back. If you don't leave a message we will turn it over to the state. The call came from 914-226-3219
I received the same scam message today July 22, 2021 at 5:00 pm.
I got a message on my answering machine: "You're this month's lucky winner of $8,500,000. Claim your prize by calling Ryan Richmond at 833-230-2990. Again, that's 833-230-2990. If you reach the voicemail box, leave a detailed message for us to call you back. If you don't leave a message, we will turn it over to the state." It really must be my lucky day to win a contest I never entered. I applaud their charitableness for donating money to the state. Usually, companies give the prize winnings to the next person on the list if the first prize winner is unable to collect their winnings on time. This is a blatant scam. No way in hell would I call them back.
Readers digest winner of $8.5M. Good to know.
