I got a call from 818-433-7822 (California) that said he was with customer service for our copier and needed the model number. When I told him we have more than one copier, he hung up on me. We lease our copiers so I know this was a scam, we are in Missouri.
Claims to be with "our copier company's customer service" - obviously not. Tricks people into cheap toner with ALL KINDS of hidden fees and charges.
Calling with the bogus excuse of "just calling about the maintenance contract on your printer" when no contract exists. They try to get the info from your machine to hack into it. As soon as you call them on it they hang up on you.

Caller ID states Hunter Corporation, again with the copier scam. Are we new to this??? If you are, it's a scam at least 20 years old. I hope those poor CSRs can sleep at night. But hey, its a job right?
