Got a call from 8163992741?
I believe this is a scam. They called me. Left a message stating the last 4 digits of my SS# and then they gave an address that we haven’t lived at for over 10 years as where they have tried to serve papers. If this was legitimate the city knows exactly where we live as we pay utilities to them. The county that the supposed lawsuit is going to happen in has our info from the taxes we pay. I am not calling but the number they left was totally different from that ion the caller ID. I believe this is a company trying to collect a debt that is obviously 10+ years old as they have the incorrect address info. I also feel I hav spoke to this company and asked them to stop calling. The last time I spoke on the phone they were threatening to come to my job (I’m a stay at home mom) and serve lawsuit. They also threatened wage garnishment and told me if I failed to cooperate I would face jail time. All of which I know is a lie. Not working makes showing up to my “place of employment” kind of hard. Also, if papers were being served, the court system knows how to find my info and serve me. And I know I cannot be out in jail for failure to pay whatever small debt they think they are trying to “legitimately” collect.
This number call me today saying they were a courthouse and I should call Merchant Solutions or I would face wage garnishments and/or a lien on my bank account. Complete Scam
Seems like a scam. Number called pretending to be a court system saying they are trying to serve paperwork. They called on Veterans day when courts are closed. Trying to get me to call a number for Merchant Solutions LLC.
This is a scam. They tell you there is a complaint against you and they are preparing to sue you. Awful
