I got a text message saying that they were zelle fraud protection and there was a transfer for $3500.00 and then a bank of america number calls me and wants to know how much money I have in my checking account I said can't you look it up he said that it was for security purposes and I then knew it was a scam Bank of America doesn't ask for that information I hung up

Got a text from "Bank of America" about a $3500 transaction. Replied to the text and got a spoofed number from BoA. The bank usually won't call you and any transactions gets lit up on their app or email. I hung up and called the real bank. No such transaction took place. Beware of scam!
