Got the same call, does anyone else know what the scam is?
I received the same BS call as those above. This is just to let anyone interested know that as of August 2021 this crap is still going on.
I just got a call from this number and gave them a lot of info, but noticed that something was fishy and I asked them to not call back.
Called wanting to know if we owed money on home. Said they were property investors. Asked questions they should have answers too on Zillow and MLS.
Definitely something weird going on. I've received 3 calls from this number. 2 were female and 1 was male. All claimed to be "Alex" working for Jonathan White. After the first phone call I stopped answering their questions. Everything they want to know is on Zillow except "how much do you still owe on your mortgage" which is absolutely no one's business.
I got a call from the same number and this time it was a gentleman that said stuff really fast. He had a Indian accent and this time he was supposedly calling for someone named Tyson about my home for sale by owner on zillow
I told him if someone was really intrested in my home they would be calling me direct and that I didn't like all these scam calls that I get because I have decided to sell my home for sale by owner. He alleged that he would have Tyson call me but I'm sure they want and if he does I'll be prepared for that scam

THIS IS A SCAM! Received a call from 813-337-6923 saying his name is Ryan and he is calling on behalf of "Riley Duncanson", whoever that is, about the home for sale at (my address listed on Zillow) in (city). The caller had an accent and spoke slow as if to try and speak clear English posing as a real estate investor but asking odd questions, very scammy. And then questions about the listing that is listed right on Zillow and wants to know how much is owed on my mortgage. THIS IS A SCAM!
Same as others. Called on behalf of Michael Neal (like that’s supposed to mean something to me. Wants all sorts of info that’s on the listing, and also wants to know how much you owe on your mortgage. Scam. Asked not to call three times now.
