The call comes in with the area code and prefix the same as my phone #. I know this is a scam to begin with but I answer it to tell them to remove my # from their list. At first it is a recording stating they are calling about my credit card. There is nothing wrong but if I want to reduce my interest rate to 6%, push 9. The only way I'm going to be able to tell them to remove my # is to push 9. NEVER MIND THAT I HAVE ALREADY REQUESTED MY # BE REMOVED PREVIOUSLY ON 2/12 AND 2/23. I get some guy on the phone who, when I tell him to please remove my #, he questions me. "Ma'am, do you know what this call is about?" I tell him, yes, a reduced rate on my credit card but that I don't do this kind of business on the phone nor am I interested. I ask him to remove my # again. He argues with me. "You won't be doing business over the phone." I tell him I want my # removed. I am on the do not call list and I don't appreciate getting calls at work. He continues arguing with me. I told him I'm going to report him. He tells me he is going to report me! WTH?! This company needs to be fined by the FCC. I HAVE REQUESTED MULTIPLE TIMES FOR THEM TO STOP CALLING ME & HAVE REPORTED ALL CALLS TO THE DO NOT CALL REGISTRY.
