Received a call saying they were calling on behalf of United Healthcare, which I do have United Healthcare. Started asking personal questions such as my DOB and home address which I never give out, but I gave it out this time. She asked me if I visited my primary doctor on a certain date. I said yes because I did. Then I said I have never had a call like this before. I said this is a scam. She said I can tell you your United Heakthcare ID number if you want. I said no. Then I said this is a scam again but now she has my DOB and home address. I never give that information out, but I’m sick and didn’t feel good, but still no excuse.

Received a call saying they were calling on behalf of Medicaid. Started asking personal questions such as my DOB. I told lady I didn’t feel comfortable disclosing that kind of information over the phone. Gave me a number to call back (1-866-889-2074) which I googled as a business dealing with people with AIDS! Scam!
it really is United healthcare... they call if you didn’t send back the survey they sent shortly after you received coverage.
This caller called and asked for my name. I said I don’t know you. He said “Oh I am sorry. My name is Charles. I am calling from United Healthcare.” He said he knew I recently received UHC and wanted to get to know me better. I asked, what kind of questions are you going to ask? He said it would take approximately 20 minutes. Then, my cell service dropped the call. They did not call back.
I had blocked the number and it will leave a message.
