Got a call 7-17-2024 and text message 7-18-2024 from 800-988-8019. Didn't answer call as I screen all calls and only answer known numbers. The text indicated my Wells Fargo card had a payment past due and I needed to call or go to website wf.com to resolve the issue. I then checked the number of the call I'd received and saw it was from the same number. As I never have had a Wells Fargo account nor any type of card I knew this was suspicious. Upon doing a search on my computer, I found several websites where people had reported this number as a scam. Apparently that's what it is.
