Bought a car; got a postcard demanding that I call this number within [the next few days] to "have your vehicle protection activated. This notice is to inform you that your [auto] is in need of vehicle protection in order to ensure its continued safe operation." The postcard screams "SCAM!!!"
Agreed, same here.
Very smart scammer. Got a card in the mail. Purported to know much about the vehicle. Must have an inside gut at toyota . When I asked him his last name and address he hung up.
Got a card in the mail about a warranty expiration notice on a recently purchased 2020 vehicle, they advised me that it had expired and that I had to purchase a new warranty. Didn’t know it was a scam until I searched up their phone number and saw this thread. One of the most realistic scams I’ve seen so far, beware.
Got this in the Mail been receiving calls from this scammers as well very threatening. BUT ITS ALL FAKE Recommending calling private before you call using your actual number. If not this scammers WILL NONE STOP CALLING FROM RANDOM NUMBERS. Change my number for all this mess!
Got the same postcard with phone number 900-939-7110. As soon as the man answered I knew they were not legitimate so I hung up. I contacted the dealership and they knew nothing about it. These people are scammers!
I also called this number, as stated by others it had all the correct data except my name. I spoke to Henry asking their affiliation with Mazda and his supervisors name. he asked 3x the # on the post card. After my refusal he said I was 'uncooperative' and hung up. Screw him a big scam!
I received a post card with the same phone number as listed. At first I thought it was legit because it had the exact car model I recently purchased. Like the others on here, it doesn't have my name, just the dealership name. I called the phone number and the lady first mentioned you need to purchase the plan right in this phone call & call back will not be accepted to get eligibility for the offer provided. This is completely SCAM.
I also Receive the postcard as well. As always I trash it but this time I want to remind myself to let people know please please trash these type of cards and do research.
I received a post card with the same phone number as listed. At first I thought it was legit because it had the exact car model I recently purchased. Like the others on here, it doesn't have my name, just the dealership name. I called the phone number but it doesn't seem to be active.
Same type of card received in the mail. Only number to call is this one. I’ve never heard of “pre-existing” conditions for a car!
I think I got the same card. It did not post the company name, or my name. It actually has a picture of a different model car but same brand. It lists 1-800-939-7110 as a number.
I too received this post card in the mail stating that I need to have my service protection updated. What caught my attention to this scam is that it did not actually state my name. Only the car model and the name of the dealership I purchase from.
Got the same postcard here, called my dealer and they never heard of such vehicle service protection thing.
Got a postcard with the phone number 800-939-7110 and no company name or address. Subject-vehicle service protection. Obviously a spam card from a company you should never send money to or deal with.

Got a postcard from these people within 2 weeks of transferring the title - they buy registration information from the tax office so they can get the details on your vehicle and your address to send you these postcards from Motor Vehicle Services - a scam to take your money and not cover your vehicle at all.
