Who called me from this phone number (800) 648-4641

My parents received a call that they had won $8.5 million dollars in a Readers Digest Sweepstakes. The caller instructed them to call the US Treasury Department at 800-648-4641 to verify the funds and get next steps. In order to receive the money, they needed to send a check to the IRS. They realized this was a scam and hung up.
