I would not go their. This person claims to help someone with firewall and protection on their computer is a joke.
Problem with Epson Printer. Started on line chat and they said they would have a tech call back. Received call from 800-510-2305 and said they were with Epson. Let him have access to my computer (dumb move). Then they said my IP address had been hacked and want to sell me a package for $600 for the printer! told him that I could buy 5 printers for that. Now worried that he had access to my computer!
I chatted with a technician that I thought was epson for a printer problem and they called my phone after I gave my number. He gave me false advice about my printer problem and tried to seek me malware protection (I have a Mac) for $399.99. I hung up.

These people are total scam artists. They first act like they are trying to help you. Then they ask for remote access to your computer. They then act like they are scanning your computer for viruses. Then all of a sudden, up pops 'Russia'. Yes, they claim you have been hacked by the Russians, supposedly just like the Russians hacked U.S. computers in 2020. They will try to steal your information, plant mini-programs on your computer and then try to charge you almost $800 for a lifetime of service. And yes, they sound like they have 'Indian' (or south Asian) accents.
