They wanted me to verify my husband's date of birth and social security number. I told them no. And asked who they were. They didn"t identify who they represented and instead sent me to a website and said call them back when I was able to verify their company. Not cool. Overall it's very hinky.
Calls themselves collection agency UCB to collect a debt, will not issue a new statement saying they have issued many and will not send more due to company policy, it's not their problem if we haven't gotten statements. I said I didn't feel comfortable with this and she rudely says I can call the BBB. Problem is I looked them up on BBB and UCB has a completely different phone number and was actually closed when I called the number listed on BBB site. Confirmed bulllcrap.
