I got this same call. Caller said I was going to receive an automatic renewal (5yrs) of 5 magazines. Not even receiving the magazine, but already renewal??? SCAM!! Caller said the were "Reader Services" out of Florida.. 800-366-4545 Total BS scam!
Shady call - I finally answered after several calls. They insisted that they were giving me a discount on renewing my "publications". I havent ordered anything and they just kept referring it to "publications"...wouldnt be specific. They also had my old address (which I never gave them the new one). Wanted my credit card number so I could cancel my 5 year renewal of these publications and only be billed $39.95 for the remaining 20 months. Be very careful with this!

Called and said they were calling about the 5 magazine subscriptions that were on there way to my house. I stated I don't have any subscriptions nor have ever ordered any. The callers response was that he was notifying customer service and sending me to collections and then hung up on me.
