scam!

November 10, 2022

Tried to call FNBO dialed 800 instead of 888... asked me to spell my name and I stated the reason for my call. After each question the man spoke very fast and garbled, saying a bunch of crap I didn't understand. I kept asking what he was saying and then he'd just ask me another question. Luckily all I gave them was my phone number before I got irritated with him and hung up realizing it was too suspicious. Fake company capitalizing on human error or dialing incorrectly.

Called 1800-295 5540 instead of 1888-295-5540 Within 2 m,inures tried to use my card

I accidentally dialed 800 instead of 888 to get FNBO bank re: Mastercard charges. Gave the scum scammer all card info, my birthdate and address. Was put on hold to listen to garbled ads to say 'yes' to ... finally I figured out what was going on, hung up, called the CORRECT number to FNBO and cancelled that card. Yikes!

If you accidental dial this number. They claim to be a credit card company. They want to verify all your information first, like how to spell your name and phone number. Next address and bank card #. Scam to steal your information, Sounds like someone from India!

Accidentally dialed 800 instead of 888. Gave them more than I should have before realizing they were a scam. Locked my card immediately and had visa issue me a new one card and cancel my other card #. Makes you feel stupid..these people are VERY good at keeping you on the phone. Call went to India. Scammers!

I called 800 295 5540 by mistake. They are scammers. Unfortunately, I gave them my date of birth. I was multitasking and unmindful. Thankfully, I caught it at the very last minute. Now I have to call all my cards and cancel them!!

I accidentally dialed 800 instead of 888, and reached these scammers in India. I thought I had reached credit card company. She kept asking 'verification' questions aggressively, and then couldn't tell me what business I reached. I figured out it wasn't card company before I gave anything important. Scumbags.

Bank credit cards

June 29, 2020

They pretended to be from First Bank! They said they would help me in closing my credit card. They tried selling me vitamins and the man was getting frustrated because I wouldn't barge. I emailed First Bank and they said they would never sell vitamins (obviously). BE CAREFUL, I Did Dial 1-888- but somehow it transfers as 1-800!!

I do not answer most of the time - other times I tell them not to call again - or I will put bullet in your brain - does no good.
