Left message stating they were attempting to collect a debt. Did not state whom they were looking for.
wanted to discuss tax information on a recorded line, but because I was on a wireless phone, other people could hear the call....WTF?
He left a lengthy message about debt consolidation for an "armed officer" (I think. Hard to tell as he was mumbling). He said to call back at 800-448-3531 with a reference number of 14046243.
Have been calling since August. Third call this month (October 2, 14, 16, 2019). They are blocked now, (as of Oct 2) but never left messages when they weren't blocked. Annoying.
They called this morning. They got my name right so I listened to the opening spiel. When they claimed that they were a debt collection agency for the IRS, I flat out told the lady that I knew for a fact that the IRS didn't call people for debt collection (the IRS sends you certified mail if there's an issue). Besides, we have an accountant do our taxes. Had there been a legit issue, she would have been contacted first. It's a total scam. I told her as much and hung up. They haven't called back yet.
Just wanted to know if they could speak to my husband and if there was a better time to call him. Weird
DO NOT ANSWER NUMBERS I DON'T KNOW. IF THEY LEAVE A MSG AND IT'S A LEGIT BUSINESS AND I AM INTERESTED IN WHAT THEY SAY I WILL CALL THEM BACK. THEY CALLED AT 8:07 PM AND LEFT NO MSG SO I DID NOT CALL THE NUMBER BACK. I KEEP GETTING CALLS FROM ANOTHER NUMBER THAT CLAIMS TO BE THE SOCIAL SECURITY OFFFICE SAYING MY SS NUMBER WILL BE VOIDED. THAT'S JUST RIDICULOUS.
Got a call from 800-254-9848 telling me they are the collections for the IRS. I don’t owe the IRS.... they bully me to the point of tears.
I've been getting calls at early morning hours on the weekend from this number and the caller ID says IRS
A company calling itself Pioneer Credit Recovery from Horseheads, New York keeps robocalling for IRS payments? Seriously?
