Got a call from 800-223-9797
It was a recording saying they were "returning our call" and that our business ranking was just upgraded to put us in the top 10% of businesses in our industry which qualified us to have up to a half million dollars in our checking account in a short period of time.
Woman called looking for owner from 20 years ago. Would not tell purpose of call. She eventually hung up. Tried calling back. "Phone number is not reachable from my phone." Most likely a criminal money laundering scam. When answering potential spam calls, NEVER say the words YES or NO. It is too easy to have those words spliced as answers to things you would never agree to. Always use words like CORRECT, TRUE, FALSE, etc when answering yes/no type questions.
A 3 second message on voicemail: “Please Die”.
MAKE IT STOP!!!! 3-4 times a day and being a small business its wrapping up our time.
Getting calls from this number in groups of three, usually the first calls and then a minute or two later I get two calls from it at the same time. This is getting ridiculous.

Claimed to be from WQHT-FM Request Line which is a NJ station not even close to me. Total scam.
800-223-9797. Asked for the Owner. So I asked her to speak to the owner of her company...she hung up.
Called from 800-223-9797 apparently a spoofed phone number for a radio station (WQHT-FM). Asked for ___ and wouldn't say what it was about. Just hung up. Blocked the number.

Simple, don't answer any calls you don't know.

My business has received a call from this number, 800-223-9797, at least once a week for most of 2020. The caller ID shows "WQHT-FM REQUEST", it's SPAM or some kind of scam. I now use a call blocker but it still allows my phone to ring once then it blocks the call.

Called and said they wanted our email address in order to send us money for the PPE loan for Covid relief. I hung up knowing this was not legit.
Got a call from this number, 800-223-9797, on 05.14.18. Recording talking about loans for businesses. I hung up when the recording never got around to an 'opt out' option. Today, 1213 pm, they called again. I pressed option 1 to talk to someone. Could hear it switch over, I said hello..... hello...... Then some guy says "SHUT UP, I'M EATING MY BROCCOLI" and drops the line. Of course if you try and call back, the number is no good.
