A guy named Alex called saying that they owed me money for a warranty I bought for my computer and said that I have to fill out a form online in “real-time”, and that he’d walk me through it. I told him why doesn’t he just send a check? He said it has to be done online, so I told him to not call again and that I’ve never of such a thing. He said he was calling from Santa Ana, CA, but the 786 area code is in Florida. I then hung up. BTW, as I was typing this, they called again but with a toll-free area code 855, and the recorded message was from Microsoft refund department. Scam!
