told me they were from comcast and shutting off cable - total scam as we don't have comcast
Impersonated Verizon FIOS. Told me my cable boxes will stop working in 2 hours. Tried to access my tv box and "install" software for valuable customers for $149.99 in exchange for $30/month discount for the next 2 years. I don't have Verizon but kept them on the phone for 28 minutes just the same - that is 28 minutes less they have to scam others. They told me they will call back in a couple of days to see how is my new reception and make sure I mailed the check. SCAM.
received call Friday the 7th they stated they were with AT&T, I told them no thank you I am with Spectrum. Today, Monday the 10th they call and state they are with Spectrum and that in a few days my cable boxes will no longer work and need to be upgraded, which is a lie I have the most up to date box there is, they wanted me to send money
