Answering machine had the very end of a garbled word on it, and no other explanation. Caller ID says "Kansas". Tried to call back and got a message that this number doesn't take incoming phone calls.
I have received several calls from 785-465-4900, each time I answer the call is blank... silent, no one on the line... and I hang up. It is as though someone is checking to see if it is a real number or if anyone will answer.

Someone calls from this number several times a day to the company I work for. They never say anything, they just hang up after about 20 seconds of dead air. It's annoying and disruptive because I have to answer the phone and they call several times a day.
They want to verify Google listings. I received 3 calls today not counting last week.
Answering service doesn't pick-up until the 6th ring so this number doesn't leave a message .. and hangs up on the 3rd unanswered ring ... My message to callers is thus: "Sometimes we don't answer b/c we receive so many calls to buy stuff so leave a message and when you called and your telephone number .."
This is a fraudulent scamming operation.. Thet tried to scam me out of $10,000.00 earlier today.

I rarely answer the phone anymore due to these calls. This number did not leave a message. The numerous robo calls I receive usually hang up and do not leave a message.
