Caller ID spoofing was used to show an IRS phone number (800-829-1040). An automated message told me an IRS lawsuit had been filed and to call 785-615-0106. It was a call center and the rep had a foreign accent. He couldn't tell me which federal law enforcement agency he was with because he need my information to look it up. He hung up because I was asking all the questions.

Give us a call back as soon as possible at our call back number. Which is 785-615-0106. I repeat it's 785-615-0106. Thank you."
