I too think this is a robo call or spam and NOT Verizon because no one ever leaves a message. Also, I have a Verizon account and they would not be calling me from New England.
Although caller ID gave this number and said it was Verizon I think it was a robo call or spam. They spoofed the caller ID info to make it look like Verizon was calling.
