It rang once, then an automated voice said “Your number has been added to our do not call list. Thank you.” The RAP is a real federal program, but the call is obviously a fake. Since they already have your number, there’s no harm in calling the 888 number to get taken off their list. The fact you called proves you know it’s a scam. There’s no point in calling you again. I got a busy signal in the first try, but the second one went through.
