Had the same thing happen to me a women called very aggressive and rude hung up on me 3 times. Spoke to my lawyer doesn't seem to be a legitimate thing.
Recieved a call in reference to a woman I've never heard of but shared the same last name. I explained it wasn't me and I didnt know anyone by that name. She clearly thought I was lying. Called back and left a threatening message. Clearly just pulling up identical last names off a database. Said to call about the claim to a 877-359-5161.
Claim was filed - and left vm
A guy called me asking about two different people say they were my aunt and uncle I told him to get a life asked him how he knew my name and he said I am in a nation wide database and hung up.

Asked if my name was Bonnie. I said no. Asked if my name was Michelle. I said no. Asked if i knew who so and so was, and said no. They did not disclose who they were. She told me to have my ID ready next time to verify. Uhm. Okay sure thing. then they proceeded to call 3 other people I know looking for the same person with similar questions. Def a scam trying to get information. Hard Pass.
