Who called me from this phone number (760) 440-4501

I got a call from 760-44-4501 claiming that they were from AT&T DirectTV and that they were offering 50% off my existing package along with a free upgrade for my account. I do not have any account with AT&T so I believe this is a scam. Also the call did not come in but it was a voicemail that dropped in my phone. I guess that is to get the person to call them back, anyway do not bother to respond to them.
