Called to scam my 85 year old mother in law out of $200.00 if she didn't upgrade her DISH network.
Individual called saying they were from ATT - Directv and wanted to upgrade my equipment. They wanted receiver id - address information. I did not provide. Requested him to prove he was from ATT or Directv. Don't give information. They could hack your equipment if connected to the internet.
Caller ha an Indian accent, said he was with Direct TV and replacing my equipment, even scheduled an appointment but never showed.
