Person called- asking to speak to the parent of "my childs name"- I said this was she, then she went on to explain how my child expressed interest in ACT/SAT exam prep- they would mail us ( the lady had our address too!) the cd's and we would need to return them within 30 days or we would be charged $219- the only catch was they needed to hold the actual funds until they received the cd's back- I then placed her on hold and called my daughter to clarify- she had no idea what this person was talking about- so when I got back on the phone, I asked her for her number so we could call back and was promptly hung up on....

I got a call from this number but I don't answer solicitation calls, I add them to my block list. They NEVER leave a message so we know what that means. More and more are getting through these days, thanks FTC--it doesn't seem you guys are doing anything to fix this situation. What exactly do you do anyway?
