The Gent on the line said a lawsuit was being filed THAT DAY in my county court house BUT if I called the mediation center with the reference number I MIGHT be able to come to a settlement. I called! ???? and spoke to a nice young lady. She was trying to collect an 11 year old debt under threat of a suit. I said the statute of limitations had passed about 5 years ago and wished them well.
