Scam energy companies never call you

I have received 20 hang up robo calls in past 1.5 hours, the company is Duke Energy

I have been getting a "spam risk" call , one right after another, over the last 3 hours. I must at least 75 - 100 calls that I have NOT picked up or answered. It is making me crazy, and I wish it would STOP! My phone says it's a "Spam Risk"

Got multiple calls

I just got a call from them. I have not had a Duke account in over 7 years. I called them back and told them to remove me from their list and that when you google the phone number 727-443-2641 it comes up as fraud and not Duke.

I have received a call from this cloned phone number multiple times. I never answer, because Duke will not call people asking for payment EVER. I pay my bill on time each month, so I knew this was a scam from the very first call. I have contacted Duke to report. There is nothing that can be done on their end.

I also received this call today and it is a scam. Do not give them payment info!

I received the same message everybody else got my account is in arrears and I need to pay up immediately I knew it was a scam 1-727-443-2641

Just got the call - hung up on me when I told them I already paid 3 weeks ago. 727-443-2641

Received call from this number, a google search indicates it is Duke Energy. Message says account past due and service will be cut off, but I pay monthly via auto payment so....

7274432641, call identified as duke energy. When I call back, Duke Energy appears to answer. As above the call is actually fraudulent.

Got a call ID showed Duke Energy so I answered. The automated message said I have an outstanding balance. I have Teco electric.

Received a call said my power was being shut off in 30 minutes and to give them my bank information and to make a payment of $198

Call came in as Duke Energy, so I answered the call. Recording said my electric was going to be disconnected due to nonpayment. Press 1 to pay or Press 2 if you have already paid your bill. Pressed 2, person could not speak English asking how they could help me. I said I don't know, you called me, and they hung up.

I just got a call from them today. Same message. Didn't respond. Duke Energy needs to fix this!

Received a scam call claiming to be Duke Energy at this number. I still have an old 727 number, haven't lived there since before Duke energy even came to FL. Nice Try. Hopefully Duke Energy will put out a customer beware notice.

Received a call saying that we owe money or our power will be shut off. We autopay and know that is incorrect. Also the number is Duke Energy when you google it so they must be using a spoof to make it look like them. BEWARE

Just got a call from this number 3 times in 2 minutes. Glad it was marked Spam. Thank you guys for reports on this one. Looked up the number and it says it is for Duke energy so they may be using some kind of spoofing
