Caller ID suggested possible spam. I recognized number from previous "police association" solicitation. I picked up but did not say anything. Actual caller asked for name on directory listing. They stayed on line for about 10 seconds before hanging up.
They said they were from the Police Officer Alliance. Asked for a $20 donation. Will mail out pledge. Than they put another person on the phone to confirm. So sounded like it could be valid. She than ask me for my credit card number, told her no to send card. Will NOT be sending any money to them at all.
