Same as above, I am elderly and don't drive. I haven't financed a car in years. I pay cash when I buy. This call and person are obvious criminals on a short road to being caught. Reporting to the FTC and FCC.
Caller, Abigail, identified herself as representing herself as calling from the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau asking for $5,000 to help me with my car insurance. I advised Abigail that I have no problems with car insurance, that the CFPB doesn't manage car insurance, and that I was reporting her for fraud. She hung up immediately. I reported her to the CFPB and FTC immediately.
