Caller ID=Columbine Manor, a local senior citizens' care facility
"Is this ***"
"Yes", I said. He then launched into a spiel about some bank and investments, and I said, "I can't talk to you about banking because the ID says 'Columbine Manor'" He immediately hung up.
Knowing the scammers want to record you saying 'YES', I know that was a mistake. Even known local Caller IDs are now suspect. Maybe it was a spoofed number but the system attached a known Caller ID to it?
