My mother received a call from 717-798-3704. Told her to call 833-437-0484 about a debt. She had to call by 12pm or they would take action. She is 93 yrs. old and doesn’t Owe any debts. She was very distressed by this call. It was left on her voicemail.
Hamlin Ross probably bought an old debt that has been gone because of the statute of limitations by at least 10 years. the number the called me on was 833-437-0484. Don't be intimidated. Another scammer
Sounds like a scam. Left a message and said they were Viking Acquisitions and gave a 1-800 number for me to call. (Different from the 717 number they called from) They said they had a file with my name and social security number and I needed to call them back (because it was a time sensitive matter) to stop further action.
Called me because I share same last name with someone they are trying to get information on. This practice is unacceptable and an invasion of privacy.
Scam
Recorded robocall scammer from caller ID 502-871-4303, which seems to change depending on where you live to try and get you to answer. The call was refused, and they left this recorded message: "This is the office of Hamlin, Ross & Associates. We are calling regarding your returned item from your bank that requires your immediate attention. It would be in your best interest to have either yourself or your representating counsel contact our office to discuss voluntary resolution of this matter. You may contact us at 1-833-437-0484 in regards to this file. Please be advised this is not a solicitation, and we will be expecting an immediate response. Thank you." Obviously a scammer, my bank notifies me of any issues. I don't do business over the phone with strangers. Besides no one has mailed me anything to appropriately address any supposed problem.

This scam organization tried twice, under different "legal" reasons 2 scam me. They forgot they called me twice before ,tried 2 scam me, I told them I was well aware of the scam and also reported them. Now they just tried again under a different "legal" reason. This is where they made a huge mistake. This last call was call number 3 I received from them using different scam ideas. I now have legal right 2 file harrassment charges. 3 or more calls is harrassment. WHOEVER IS READING THIS BE AWARE IF THESE PEOPLE CALLED U THEY R TRYING 2 SCAM THEM. PLEASE DONT JUST DO NOTHING. FIGHT BACK. REPORT THEM, FILE CHARGES IF THEY KEEP CALLING.
This number called my cell phone and left a message because I don't answer calls I don't recognize. The message they left was supposed to be from Rothman Kline regarding my account . I have no concerns with this business or anyone else. I have no account issues. Just beware.!

Same - called work phone threatening criminal charges and to have sherrifs office come out to business & or home with fraud charges regarding a loan with Ace Cash Express. Loan was paid years ago. Contacted Ace Cash Express whom verified the same. This is a fraudulent call. Advised them to cease contact.

claimed they were from a law office regarding a debt. stating that they will be taking me to court unless I agree to a settlement offer they have regarding a credit card. stated they will send me an email that I have yet to receive. also did not recite the Debt Collector Mini Miranda.
