Yes I got this same number calling me 717-740-8347. Its a scam I paid my bill on time today and refuse to call this number back PPL will send letters I believe or recording with a 1-800 number the one on your bill
I just got a all from someone at 603-768-1397 telling me they are from PPL & wanting me to call 717-740-8347. Glad I looked here! My bill is paid & I have no issues so I figured it was a scam!
Call originated from (618)260-1443 re:PPL bill. I was told to call (717)740-8347, which I did not do.
