Some guy named Anthony Turnanella called from 736-876-8107 ext: 115 stated he was an Investigator calling from a recorded line and was calling about my ex-husband regarding some outstanding debt from Allied Publishing-Reading Materials from 2009. However, I've been divorced since 1999 so I didn't have a clue about what he was talking about. He asked me to confirm some old home & work numbers as well as my current P.O. Box that I still have. He called my current employer first (don't know how he got the number) and lied to them and told them I told him to call me at my work this morning. They then gave him my cell phone # since I was off today. This is a SCAM artist. He tried to tell me that I owed over $1500 on some magazine subscriptions but as long as I never ordered anything else, all I had to pay today was $260. I told him to do whatever because I'm not responsible for any debts to this company and that my attorney will handle this. He then got belligerent and basically threatened me so I told him whatever and hung up the phone! whatever you do DON'T CONFIRM ANY INFORMATION HE ALREADY HAS because he's trying to get more info.
This guy, Anthony Turnanella, called and left message with a file number and that legal action was being taken against me that either i call or my lawyer to get this taken care of.
This guy calls asking questions trying to get you to say "yes" to stuff.

this person has been calling and harassing with all kinds of b.s. for at least 10 years. Claims to be a 15 year old debt for magazines never received said we owe well over $1000.00 plus fees but they would settle now and not file charges. looked up family and friends numbers-- claims to be a dectective or from the legal dept of 2430...tries to sound all legal but vague when asked any questions. Same as other people mentioned here spoke with our states fraud dept and locla law enforcement he is not in law enforcement.. it is a debt scam. Usually goes by Mark K or Alan T
