Who called me from this phone number (714) 409-8478

Calling elder citizens using scam or fraud propaganda.

Caller (from 714-409-8478) claimed his name was Peter King and I won a prize from Publisher's Clearing House on January 22, 2017 (over 2 years ago) and he was wondering why I haven't claimed it. but he was calling from American Cash Awards which is affiliated with 39 other companies. He went on and on talking aimlessly. I asked what did I win. He said 2.5 Million Dollars and a new car, a Mercedes and a year's worth of gas. But he needed an email address from me and after he got the information and got me into the system - we would contact the IRS as they have to take out taxes - and there is a registration fee to get this started. I asked how much the fee was - he was sensing my response to him was that he was full of sh*t and he then hung up on me. 6/17/2019

Got called from a Jamaica number. I did not answer. "Peter" told me to call him back regarding winning 2.5 million and a car through Publisher Clearing House. Number left was 714-409-8478. I did not call back as I figured it was a scam. Based off other responses I was correct.

Received a restricted call. I answered it. They stated I won publishers clearing house but first they wanted me to send them $599 to a James Carter in Brooklyn NY. After I send the money, I need to call Frank Cooper at 714-409-8478. I asked how to they got my number. They stated from their ballot system. I said well what's your ballot system and they hung up on me! I know it's a scam, I just played along!
