“Serena” and “Danielle” from Levi Cohen have and continue to call me, my ex, my spouses ex and our kids giving details of a debt that was incurred allegedly by my spouse 3 years prior to us even meeting and a debt I never signed for. Both stated because I live in a “community property” state, I too am liable for the debt. I was told my employer was served and they were waiting for a response but had not received one at that time. Different amounts were given for “pay off.” They claim to be an attorney’s office and process server representing Kay Jewelers. They apparently performed “skip tracing” and obtained information and have gone so far as to provide information for one of our kids providing their address and types of vehicles they drive. Huge mistake here...messing with me is one thing but messing with my kids and employment is another. They’ve crossed so many possible legal lines. Upon trying to obtain the address for the company, they continue to talk over you and refuse to provide it. State they have to provide me nothing. What a joke. I may have been born at night but it sure wasn’t last night. Do not verify any information to these people whatsoever. I have filed complaints with my state’s Attorney General’s Office as well as the Federal Trade Commission. I am in the process of having an attorney go after these unscrupulous, rude and illegal practicing “attorneys”.

I am dealing with the same thing right now. What is the status you're in right now? I'm curious to see if this actually turned out to be a legit collection because they had my social security number, they gave me "my" old credit card number for Amazon and an 866 number to call them to verify the charge-off. It is very possible I owe Amazon money, however I cannot locate any of that old paperwork. I have never once received a letter stating they were taking me to court (isn't that the legal route?) for this supposed debt. The lady told me that I owed $2,589 but would settle for $1,000 to avoid court and the associated costs. It really scared me, to be honest, but no one has called today... They called my cell, my office number, my dad, my father in law and my mother's boyfriend (no clue how they got all these numbers). Anyway, just wanted to see how things are with you, did they stop calling? Was your debt real? Did they summons you for court?? Thanks!!
They will call and claim to be Shapiro & Associates, or Premier Legal. They are a scam. If you ask them to validate the debt, they can't. If you ask for a mailing address they will not give it to you. If you asked them to stop calling they continue, and will call your family and employer to attempt to extort money. I have reported them to the Attorney General's office since I have several voicemail recordings of them pretending to be law enforcement. They claim to be debt collectors but use illegal tactics in an attempt to extort money. BEWARE!!!! THEY'RE SCAMMERS! DO NOT GIVE THESE CROOKS MONEY!!!!!

They called me pretending to be Premier Legal Support Services. I called the real Premier Legal Support.. Scam.. I also spoke with CFPB, PROCURADURIA, AG CITIZEN SERVICES UNIT and of course POLICE DEPARTMENT. They want my debit card info, my physical address and info about more and more. They threated me with taking me to court, go to my employer, etc... When I requested their info, the very angry lady, her name is Lory, start screaming at me. Be careful please. Don't brind any financial or personal info, better contact the authority.

Same issue as these other people. Can someone please confirm if this is legit? Or if any legal action HAS been taken by this number. Serena claimed to be with Levy & Cohen, but when I began asking for more information or if they accepted online payments, she became frustrated. She stated "people make payments over the phone all the time". She then followed up by saying forget the 521$ settlement, we're suing you for the full amount... Then she hung up...
