Social security fraud scam. Told me that I was going to be arrested. Total scam caller was obviously in India.
Caller named David (federal agent) keeps calling my elderly mother..!!! He is very rude and this is obviously a scam! Leave the elderly ALONE
They said(Amanda Scott 702 487 8781) was calling from the Beurau of Consumer Protection. She stated that I had won a sweepstakes in 2015. Since I didn't respond to the letters from the sweepstakes, that the company NAUPA in Lansing Michigan(517)507-0176 was filling a claim so they could forfeit paying me the money, and if I wanted to claim the $750,000; I would have to contact NAUPA. OBTAIN FORM 1099; in order to claim the winnings. Also, I would have to purchase a release or transfer stamp that would cost me$800.00.
A recorded, automated message was left on my husband’s phone threatening to have people detain everyone in our household for illegal payments to fedex to support organized crime.
told me they dialed the wrong number when I told them this was a do not call number.
