Number was screened by our operator. Person left an accidental voicemail on my phone saying "This b* left me on hold forever just to send me to a f*ing voicemail. You know how mad that makes me...". This is the best voicemail I have ever received. 10/10 would definitely inconvenience this person again.
This one has been a constant. Scamming of Spectrum customers. If you listen and ask them to confirm anything about the account, they hang up.
They called to say that they were part of Spectrum Mobile and Ring Planet Communication to provide an interconnection agreement with a service upgrade to lower our bill in response to FCC complaints reference Spectrum having a monopoly in this area. I was suspicious based on the fact that they had no actual account information and the call was unsolicited. They asked for my e-mail address and sent an email with a link that they asked me to open to review the changes. When I indicated that I was skeptical and refused to open the email before confirming this with Spectrum, they hung up. Definitely fraudulent. Definitely very good at what they do.
Says they represent Spectrum and demanded to speak to the 'decision maker' at my company. Told her I already have Spectrum & couldn't imagine what they wanted. She told me 'If you'll be quiet you might find out'. That's pretty much when I went all Shanaynay on her sorry behind.
Says their company is partnered with Spectrum (my service) to reduce our phone bill. So not just selling but scamming trying to make you think they are with your current service.
Calls every single day stating they are with AT & T about lower rates. I have repeatedly told them to put me on their DO NOT CALL List and the still call every day.
states they are from Ring, a partner with Spectrum. States new lower rates will be effective next month as Spectrum must comply with the Fair Competition Act due to all of the complaints about high prices
